How I built a profitable biz without quitting my school SLP career
I'm still a school SLP with a caseload and a weekly duty, that part hasn't changed. What changed was life.
Right after my husband and I got married, my father-in-law became critically ill, and soon after my husband became his full-time caregiver. We suddenly had to figure out how to replace a large part of our income.
So I started using every skill I had.
I designed websites, coached fellow SLPs, worked with private therapy clients, created courses and booked speaking engagements, all while working full-time.
Within 9 months, I had created multiple income streams, and paid off over $14,000 in credit card debt ALL while working my 9-5. Not to mention…
…by March 2025, I was consistently out-earning my school SLP income while staying in the career I never left.
That experience taught me something I now tell every school SLP I coach: you can grow your income without giving up the career you trained for.
Now, I teach school-based speech therapists (like you!) how to turn skills you already have into additional income streams, so you can build more freedom without leaving the career you love.
