Daj Mitchell graduated from Governors State University with her Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Psychology. She received her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Illinois State University and holds a variety of certifications and awards including certification as a Lingraphica Technology Specialist, Level I and Level II Sensory Certification and a recipient of two successive ASHA ACE awards.
Daj is a school-based speech-language pathologist and private practice owner known for her passion for supporting fellow therapists. We do not provide ASHA CEUs at this time. In most cases, a certificate for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) may be provided. If your event requires specific documentation, please note that in your inquiry.
What is included when we book Daj?

Every booking includes consistent communication leading up to the event, a fully prepared presentation, a 5-10 minute Q&A portion and digital handouts for attendees when applicable. Specific deliverables are outlined in the speaker agreement. You may negotiate additional deliverables.

Yes. All talks are available in both virtual and in-person formats. Format availability and any associated travel requirements will be confirmed during the inquiry process.
How far in advance should we book?

Daj recommends reaching out at least 6 to 8 weeks before your event date to allow adequate time for contracting, preparation and any customization. For larger events or conferences, earlier is better.
